Rich Carlson is in his fifties and lives in Tucson, Arizona in the southwestern desert of the USA. (The above photograph was taken when he was about forty years old.) He is disabled, but is fortunate to be able to work full-time at a supercenter and he paints N-scale models in his free time. Rich is very happy to not require government disability; he lived on government disability many, many years ago because of his conditions. He is still challenged by his conditions, but does well in his life.
